Delete your account

How to delete your GoMely account and data, and what happens next.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open GoMely and tap Profile.
  2. Tap the gear to open Settings, then Account.
  3. Tap Delete account, read what will be removed, type DELETE and confirm.

Have a subscription? Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it first in your iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, GoMely.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, household, diets and allergies, plans, grocery lists, streaks, badges, photos and posts.
  • If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke GoMely's access to your Apple ID.
  • Your account is closed at once. For 30 days you can restore it by signing in again. After 30 days everything is permanently erased.
  • We keep purchase and tax records only as long as the law requires. Apple keeps its own records of your purchases.

Can't open the app?

Email hello@gomely.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete your account within 30 days.
